TWO MONTHS OLD. Can you believe it?
I am going to miss this onesie SO MUCH. You need more frog clothes.
This post is a couple weeks late, but it's hard to type with an active two-month-old on my lap, squawking for my attention, so you'll have to forgive me.
Custom froggie from our friend Sillyliss.
This month marked a big set of changes in you; you're becoming an actual baby instead of the ameboa you were for your first month. (A CUTE amoeba but an amoeba none the less.) You are now an interactive baby and it is super fun.
Vogue baby is HANDSOME. This pic shows you 48 days old wearing the same onesie you wore home from the hospital. My little string bean baby!
In an effort to get out of the house more you've been seeing a lot of Target lately. Hey, it's enriching! There are a lot of colors and things to look at! (Work with me here.)
This month we got to wish Omi, your Great Grandma, a happy birthday and you gave her the best present ever - a HUGE smile just for her.
The Packers started their season this month as well, and it hasn't been off to the greatest start, but you sleep through most of the games, so I don't know that you care too much.
We also read a lot of books. I'm hoping you'll learn to like The Very Hungry Caterpillar as much as I did when I was little, but so far you seem to pay most attention to Dr. Seuss books.
You are so much fun to be around, just learning to reach out and hit things, following toys we move around with your eyes. I'm starting to see the future where we'll get to PLAY with you, and I can't wait. If the laughs you give me now are any sign you are going to be SO MUCH FUN.
Happy (late) two-month birthday, Simon, my little string bean baby.
Love,
Mama
